Taking a step back at Deviant.

We at Deviant take pride in acting at our communities will. And when our community voiced concerns about the upcoming Presale we were there and put the decision in their hands. The votes are in and our fellow Deviants have decided to delay the Presale and have a small Funding Round instead. This blog highlights the decision and what it means for Deviant’s future.

This is the decision our community fell on and comes the most natural in hindsight. It was decided to take the most neutral approach by taking a small amount of funding from our community before the presale.

UPDATE: We did KYC before the Funding Round anyways; will now be seen as a Bonus Sale!

The funds raised by this will give community members an early stake in the future of the project and can guarantee the presale will run at maximum safety and with a marketing campaign at full force!

The presale will happen roughly how it was supposed to just pushed back after New Year’s. The Token price will be at $20 with a higher maximum investment per wallet and higher hard cap. More details and the exact time will be released beforehand to get everyone on the same page.

To be honest the team was a bit blind-sighted by the requirement of KYC. We knew it was a relevant step to take but after hearing horror stories of scams in the ranks of our community we knew we had to act. We are deeply sorry for the funds lost in other projects and the many motivated to take part in our Presale. We hope that spirits are still high and that we as a community found a compromise that leaves everyone better off in the end.
