As a child I was told: “Stay away from salt. Salt will dry your blood.” Melodramatic much? But maybe the standard adulterated supermarket salt too many of us consume does indeed dry your blood? On the other hand real salt — like Himalayan pink rock salt and Celtic sea salt — is not only healthy, it’s also essential. Which brings me to the topic of Sole water…..

Sole (pronounced ‘solay’) is water fully saturated with unrefined natural salt, (like Himalayan pink salt or sea salt. See pic). The term Sole comes from the Latin sol, meaning sun. It looks like this:

You can make your own Sole by adding an inch or so of real natural salt to a sterilized (via dishwasher) glass jar (or add a few large rocks of Himalayan salt — see pic). Then fill the jar up with pure, filtered water. That’s it. Consume about a teaspoon-full per day, mixed with pure water.
