Transition to transformation

And so the days flow by as my notebook fills up. Filled to the rim with emotions and thoughts. Words on ink. Consciousness writing its own story. An attempt to recognise itself.

It’s been five weeks today. I am getting started, barely standing on my own two feet in the midst of the Indian cloud. An infant taking her first steps, with a carefulness that carries, at its core, a reckless determination. The determination of those who know no failure is possible. Those who live in a world of single lanes, leading to single objectives. Those whose mind thought itself strong enough to pretend interrupting the infinite dance of potentialities.

My steps are hesitant still, but they hold the energy of those here to stay.

It’s raining outside. I reflect on the past few days and realised I haven’t felt much alignment, as it always happen in the presence of planning. I should know by now. I haven’t felt at ease in the spaces we’ve moved through. The oases of peace and calm that held me — always, in Nepal, are nowhere to be found. Not a bench to welcome my body. Not the smile of a stranger to touch my heart. Not a piece of nature to offer simple abundance. It’s a new feeling, a space right between comfort and discomfort — I stand there, a little confused, calm and peaceful. Faithful and curious, waiting with equanimity for the future to come to me, as it always does.
