How to spend first year in engineering?

Hello friends!

This article I have specially designed out of my experience and study and is about how to get started in very first year of engineering life.when we enter our college there is a lot of things which we worry about like -
1)culture of the institute
2)How to make adjustments in our own
3)new friend circle
4)beginning of freedom era
5)how much to study in college
6)how to approach my career
and the list is endless

But my friends do not worry.Today everything I will put forward in front of you.My aim today will be to explain you the 5 most important tips on how to proceed.

1.Explore,explore and explore:
The first thing I should say that when you go anywhere in your college just get all about the place.Ask from your seniors whichever topic interests you about your college(Do not fear about ragging until you are in the boundaries of your college).Get to know about all the clubs,societies and extract all the information about environment of your campus.

2.Manage:
The real problem to engineering students is that that until secondary education they deal and spend their time only in education.So the problem they face in college is about how to manage time between their studies and their extra co-curricular activities.The ones who remain studious are able to get good scores but they feel neglected and are called nerds.The ones who like the society of college get away from studies and they also get shock when they hear their results.

3.Smart work:
Just manage to do smart work in your college.What I mean to say is that do smart study by working only on important parts and quickly wrapping unimportant content, do smart friendship that is do friendship to that extent until there is no peer pressure on you.You agree to your friends opinion meanwhile putting forward yours also.Also do smart adjustments in hostels,campus,canteen etc.

4.Come in spotlight:
It is very necessary that you come forward in some particular field very strongly whichever is your favorite.It is mandatory because if you cannot prove yourself different from others in one unique way in first year you will not be able to do it in upcoming years also.So master one skill,there should be at least one reason to shine yourself.

5.Decide your priorities:
By the time you reach at the end of your first year you should be able to develop your priorities in every field.I am not talking about academics.I just want to say that you should know who is the best to chill with,who is best to talk about studies,who is best to spend leisure time with,which is the best way to engage my career,who is my best friend and so on.These priorities will help you a lot in your whole life even after your college.
